With spring being only a few days away, I thought it would be nice to share a few easy homemade spring dessert recipes with you to get your dessert table looking springtastic for any upcoming occasions.

1. Lemon Bars

What a refreshing way to welcome spring than with a lemon bar. Lemon bars are one of those desserts you love since childhood, it’s no wonder this citrusy light and sweet bar has become a favorite recipe and I hope it will become a classic stable dessert in your home as well.

With only 10 minutes to prep, Betty Crocker has a great recipe. My favorite part of the lemon bar is the crust and the tanginess from the lemons. The recipe asks for 2 tbsp of lemon zest, one medium lemon should be enough. Lemons is by far my favorite flavors, so I always add a few more zest than required.

2. No-Bake Cheesecake

As the weather is getting nicer and you are turning on your ovens less. No bake cheesecake has become an easy-going classic dessert in my household. For the best No Bake Cheesecake, I turn to Kraft foods. Now you can make the crust as recommended on the website or you can use  Keebler prepackaged Ready crust, either method works.

Check your local supermarket baking aisle for the Ready Crust. This recipe only takes 15 minutes to prepare. Be sure to add and blend vanilla extract to the mixture before setting it in the fridge.

3. Chocolate Bark

What better way to ring in spring than with chocolate. This recipe is my ultimate go to for the chocoholic in the family. It’s so rich and creamy and super easy to make. The key to this recipe is picking quality chocolate. This dessert is something you can whip up very quickly using ingredients that are already in your home. Cookies & Kate feature an easy chocolate bark recipe

For the kiddies you can use crumbled Oreos, pretzels as well as jellybeans and gummy worms. For adults any nuts, dried fruit or seeds will do!

4. Berry Trifle

You can’t go wrong with a classic trifle not only is it easy but refreshing. This creamy fruity dessert is easy to make and can feed a large party at a fraction of the cost. This hassle free treat can be made in several different ways, using angel food cake or brownies as it base. You can also use cookies and chocolate in between the creamy layers while topping it off with fresh fruit.

Berry trifle is my ultimate favorite springtime dessert as you can make it overnight and use seasonal berries inside your trifle cutting down the cost. This recipe only takes  30 minutes of prep time unless you pre-cut your fruits in advance. Berry Trifle is a delicious arrangement of fresh berries, angel food cake, and whipped toppings. Lifeloveandsugar.com has a great recipe listed on their page.

Remember to have fun with this recipe and simply use it as a guide if you are not into berries you can go for citrus or tropical trifle or perhaps one filled with brownies, fudge, and fruit.
