If you are fortunate enough to have a good friend or a best friend, then you have something that many people don’t have, a bond with another person that is truly unique and special.
40 and Fabulous Event
This weekend we had the pleasure of baking an entire dessert table for my bestie who is now 40 and fabulous.
We were delighted to bake for such a special event because if you know Onica, you know she is a warm, loving, caring person and overall a total bad ass woman of virtue and integrity.
When we first found out about this event, I knew I wanted to try out a few new items to make the table special.
Kate Spade Theme
The theme was Kate Spade Inspired as the colors included black, white, fuchsia, light pink and gold.
The tables were beautifully decorated with white tablecloths, a black and white runners and gold bottles filled with fuchsia colored roses and baby breaths.
While each place setting was set with gold chargers, fuchsia napkin topped with a gold diamond rhinestone napkin ring.
Dessert Table
The dessert table was lavish as we filled it with spectacular yummy treats and added a mini candy bar for the kiddies.
The dessert table menu included the following:
- 2 Tier Cake
- Top Tier: Red velvet cake with cream cheese buttercream
- Bottom Tier: Death by Chocolate Cake- Filled with Nutella Buttercream and assorted Lindt chocolate pieces topped on each layer.
- Margarita cupcakes
- Mini Cupcakes- Red velvet, strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla.
- Chocolate covered pretzels
- Chocolate covered Oreos
- Cake pops- chocolate and vanilla
- Chocolate covered marshmallows
- Fondant Covered Rice Crispy Treats
- Chocolate Covered Strawberry Tower
- Coconut Cîroc infused Chocolate Mousse Cups
- Strawberry Shortcake Mousse cup
- Sugar Cookies
